Here are some fun facts about the team this semester:

Andrea Vargas
Major: Advertising & Public Relations
Minor: Cinema Studies
Internship Position: Content Strategy Intern

Q: What is your dream company to work for?

A: Lush or Glossier, for sure. I’m obsessed with their social media presence and they just seem like all-around cool people to be friends with! Beauty and skincare products have these insanely friendly and involved followers that I would love to make content for.

Q: What is one thing you can’t live without?

A: That would 100% be Netflix. I love entertainment, and more importantly, a good story. Not only does Netflix curate a variety of different genres of film and TV, but they’re constantly putting out their own new and original content.

Major: Human Communications
Minor: Marketing
Internship Position: Video Intern

Q: What is your dream company to work for?

A: It is really hard to pick just one. I would love to work for BET, MTV, Buzzfeed, Instagram or Snapchat as my top 5. I like the media route. For example, Buzzfeed takes a unique approach on marketing their services and creating new trends and displaying them. I just think they’re really different. I’d love to be Quinta’s best friend.

Q: What is one thing you can’t live without?

A: First and foremost, food. But also, Youtube. I watch Youtube like it’s TV. I admire a lot of the Youtubers I stay loyal to.

Geoffrey Smith
Major: Pre-MBA/ Philosophy
Internship Position: New Business Development Intern

Q: What is your dream company to work for?

A: My own company. Most likely some sort of tech company. Eventually, I want to get into social entrepreneurship like Shawn Seipler, CEO of Clean the World. He made a self-sustaining business that is profitable and scalable by recycling soaps from hotels and sending them to third world countries.

Q: What is one thing you can’t live without?

A: Air. You can take anything else from me and I wouldn’t bat an eye.

Q: What is your dream company to work for?

A: Any high fashion magazine that I can do advertising or writing for.

Q: What is one thing you can’t live without?

A: My phone or water. There is no way I can leave my house without water. Netflix would definitely be a third thing.
